I have made my first post in the mountain bike section so I thought I should at least stop in here and say HI.

I am NIC and I live in Arizona ( if you could not tell by my name :D )

I do not currently own a bike but I am working on it. I am 27 years old and I am wee bit out of shape. I hope that a new bike and this forum will help me on that aspect. I would like to meet more people in AZ the closer to Tucson the better to ride with and make some friends.

Hi NIC, does this mean you are looking for a mountain bike? Why not a road bike as well? Both are great fun :D .

Welcome to BF!

road bikes are fun but I enjoy getting out in nature rather than dodging morons in neons

Well, you have a point! At least the trees stay still and don't throw things at you (except for pine cones :D ).
