On June 1, 2008, Severin Gose and Sean Omara will ride from Seattle to San Francisco. The purpose of this ride it to raise awareness of the current health care needs of those in Guatemala and the work that http://www.primerospasos.org/ (http://primerospasos.com) is doing in this area. The ride will also be a fundraiser for Primeros Pasos, as they are currently at risk of closing due to lack of available funding. Currently Primeros Pasos, with the help of many volunteers, is working not only on health care in the highlands of Guatemala, but also on health education, and community outreach programs, to better the lives of those in the region.
