Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Her Loss, Her Gain
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
While this is non-cycling specific, here is an article from my local paper of an unhealthy young mother of two, who lost 100 lbs (she's only 5' tall). She's completed 1/2 and full marathons, and is now planning on running up Mt. Washington this summer (7.6 miles, 12% average grade ).

+1 Its great to read stories like this because it highlights the fact that obesity is not just a physical problem as we all know. it is so important that we look after our mental health and let it look after us;-)
