I'm perusing the world of cyclocross bikes, and have come across what seems to be a good deal on a GT GTR Type CX, though I've yet to see any decent online reviews. Does anyone have experience with this bike? Is it a solid ride, or not worth the investment. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Also interested in any opinions about this bike. Someone please?

I work at performance bikes in seattle, and I have ridden this bike. The ride is very quick and responsive. The frame is one of the lightest aluminum cross frames. Todd Wells, GT cross-country rider, won the National Cyclocross Championship with that exact frame, but of course he had it outfitted with SRAM RED everywhere. But overall, it is a good, lightweight, quick bike.

There's a guy over on tarck bike that has one and loves it. I'd have him post some info about it over here, but he's probably banned from this place.
I haven't ridden one, but I've given it a good once over at Lycc's work and it certainly seems like a hell of a bike. Of course, it's hard to tell without actually riding it.

Wells won his national championship on Dura Ace but the sram stuff is super sweet. I have it on my cross bike and can't really see getting rid of it.

for the price alone i say get it , although @ less than 700.00 the component spec is not the greatest , but will work good for sometime , the nlightend frame is great !! , i rode one for 7 months until some loser decided he needed it more than i did

I rode one around the GG cross course for fun. Seemed like a lot of bike for the money, and Wells killing on it doesn't hurt either.
Solid. Definitely a stiff frame, if that's what you want.
