Ok, I want one, and I guess I'm willing to go to ChampSys and whatnot to get these produced. Anyone else want them?

(Also, to the designer of this jersey, can you pm me the design so I can post it here? Thanks :))

That would be me. Here's the links to the full sized jpegs on my website:

They might need some work before manufacturing, so let me know so I can help. My only request is that any changes go through me.

Someone in another thread indicated that the wraparound of the logo is a problem because it might not line up in all of the sizes. Check with the manufacturer before ordering, do not drive under the influence, your mileage may vary, etc, etc...

One more thing... it's kind of funny to see the different jersey threads with everyone plugging their favorites. I do like mine, but there were some other great ones as well. All I ask is that, when the dust settles, if someone actually does make one of my designs, let me know so I can get one.

Put me down for one...already mentioned it in the other thread. :D

That makes three of us...oh, four since we're counting tinrobot.

I really, really like this one though, even if the BIKEFORUMS part is so blatantly advertised, so I'd go the distance to have it made. Anyone else? Anyone?

(I still think Bikeforums and SoCal should be switched, but like people said on the other retro jersey thread both having BF logo or SoCal in prominence have points for and against them. I'm of the "travel a lot and want people to know I'm from SoCal" and "don't want uberforumgeekness advertised" camps, lol. I leave the final decision to tinrobot though.)

If the design can work with the panels vs stripe, I'd probably be in for one of those. I likey. :)

Ok, so with cuda2k in, that makes 5! we're at the halfway mark! :p

Even without the branding, it has a cool retro-look.

If you get one, that makes 6! You can cover up the socal part with tape or something. :p

I only wear long sleeves. Yep, even in summer. The closest I own to a road bike (without a gas tank too) is a cyclocross bike. So I'm not likely to wear a short sleeve jersey.

Bet they can get you a long sleeve version, especially if production goes to ChampSys. ;)

Why don't BFers ever get clothes done by Voler? I think they're much better than ChampSys.

Typically, it's been a matter of cost, convenience, and minimum orders.

Yeah, I guess Voler is a bit expensive.

On another note, I completely missed out on other jersey designs. Can't find them anywhere now. Has this design been finalized or is the poll still open? I would love to look at the other designs.

Imagine a watermelon being dropped from a two story building and there you have the current state of the Bike Forum jersey poll.

My club worked with Voler. Its nice stuff but expensive and the minimum order is 25

Voler has a per-color charge also, because of the printing process. A screen is made for each color. Champion use dye sublimination, so they do not need to make seperate passes for each color.

I think this one was my second favorite after the blue-sleeve version, so include me in if there's a 3x or 4x option. And yes, I'll wear this with black shorts.

I really like the jersey, but would replace bikeforums with California/ Los Angeles/ etc...
Seems like the whole BF jersey isn't such a welcomed idea. (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=405662&page=4)

They do custom jerseys but there's a 100 piece minimum order @ $39.50/pc for short sleeve and $43/pc for long sleeve...hmmm...

Now how to get 100 people to order this jersey...

If you buy their standard colors and use their standard fonts, the minimums are a lot less. They have 12-29 and 30+ pricing.

So for a 30+ quantity order, it looks like it would be $39 + $3.75 per line for raised flock lettering, 12-29 quantity order would be $51 + $3.75.

Since the blue sleeve has gone to the dogs, please sign me up for this one.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking--this jersey + white shorts. Er...hopefully the white shorts don't turn out to be semi-transparent.

So do I sign you up for one?

Not yet. I may change my mind when the order gets rolling though.

No can do on the wool, because the minimum order is 100. I don't think we can round up enough SoCal forumers to order it in wool.

Well what sort of fabric is it? How about a few more specs?

Well what sort of fabric is it? How about a few more specs?

Well, we're ordering it from Champsys, so it's gonna be their short-sleeved jersey, with the Champsys Tech Fabric. More info here: http://www.champ-sys.com/index.asp?initpage=Home

Yay, that makes eight or nine! Two or one more to go!

Also, to everyone who wants to order: when the number of people ordering hits 10, PM me your size, and I shall PM back where you can send the check, or paypal. Actually, I prefer paypal. You don't have to pay until I actually make the order though--I'll cover it first, then calculate the S&H charges to add on. It should come out to around $55.

Guess I should introduce myself since I'm new around here and have been lurking for a month or two.

YAY WE HAVE 10!!!! Welcome Steve and thanks for completing the minimum for Champ-Sys!!!

*rings bike bell in joy*

All of you who are still in for ordering should PM me with your size and how many you want (dunno, maybe your SO or kids want matching jerseys *shrug*). We all are getting the short-sleeved ones, and if you want an additional style like long-sleeved or summer jersey, you can include that in the order too. I like Champ-sys because you can do this. :p

Sizing info is at the Champ-sys website,
http://www.champ-sys.com/index.asp?initpage=Home

The jerseys cost $45, plus I will be shipping them to you, so the final price will be about $50-55. But wait!

*does a little mental math*

Actually, if we all pay $60, we can get the designer, Tin Robot, a jersey for free for his wonderful efforts in designing this. Is that ok with everyone?
