I was convinced by my teammates to sign up for Madera instead. I wish I could do both. I missed Island View last year also because I was sick.

Well there were supposed to be 4 of us doing the ojai crit this weekend, then one got caught up in work, another got injured, and the other decided to take a week off to get ready for sea otter, so it looks like I'm going to be teamless again, but I will be there.

I'll be doing IV Crit in both Cat 4 and Collegiate Mens B, as well as working the results table.

I might do that RR portion of the San Diego Cyclovets Omnium on Saturday. Not sure yet.
I missed Blvd, and I'm told it's the same course. So even though my fitness is lacking (My off/early season training sorta fell apart.), a RR would be good training if nothing else.
Plus a RR with the new powertap would probably yield some useful data to try and get my training back on track.
With my MTB background, I think my strengths are definitely geared more toward RR than crit performance, so maybe it'd be worthwhile...

Detailed reports everyone!! I cannot make it as I'm doing Mulholland Challenge & KOM this year.
I did IV last year as my first race since 1997. Cat 4s were full so I did Master's 35+. Ouch. My goal was to just stay with the pack. That I did, only coming OTB during the sprint for the line. Nice course.

After riding fairly well last night at the Rose Bowl, checked the Ojai registration, 4/5's is closed. sorry brother.
