Are there any training races in south Jersey? I've heard something about a Thursday nighter in Evesham, but nothing in detail other than "its just a group of riders meet there at 6:30" ...very helpful.

The thursday crit is a blast, some of the most fun you will have. A super smooth 1 mile course. Sat ride leaves from the shopping center across the st at 8. Also a fun ride.

The course is only a 25 minute bike ride from my house, I went there to watch a few crits last season.

Ok, I finally had time to get over there last night. Rode the 8 miles to the race to warm up, got thre early so I did 5 or 6 loops of the course with a few hard efforts...then I raced! IT WAS FREAKIN AWESOME! and I thought my Cat 4/5 race was fast..I looked down at the 35min (1hr + 5 race) point and the avg was right at 28.5mph! I had to jump out for 1 lap, but then caught them on the hill the next time around and finished with the group.

I was the guy with the hairy legs wearing the plain white jersey...if anybody else was there.

Where are the thursday night training crits?

Are they still going on in may? Do they count towards usac upgrades from 5-->4 but not points?

I want to do a couple of them next month!
