Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi all.
I will be going on a trip near the Bradley Center later this year. Can anyone recommend some upscale hotels near there? Also, feel free to throw in some local bike shops too... :D
Thanks.
I used to live a few blocks away from Badley center... all i can help with is shops.
Cory the bike fixer http://www.corythebikefixer.com/ about 10mins away
Crank Daddy's http://www.crankdaddys.com/ few blocks from Cory's
enjoy!

Well you got the bike shop info here are a few hotels. Both of these hotels are smaller non-chain hotels. http://www.hotelmetro.com/ and http://www.countyclare-inn.com/index.html. Hope this helps they are not right next door to Bradly Center, but I would rather stay at one of these compared to what is right next door. If you need anymore help with food or things to do just ask. I was stuck in Rockford for three weeks, well stuck might be a little rough, but away from the bike and spinning class.
Hotel Metro is nice. Other options you have:
The Pfister (http://www.pfisterhotel.com/hotel_overview/hotel_overview.asp)
The InterContinental (http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ic/1/en/hotel/mkewi?&rel=nofollow&firstpoint=dcb1&cm_mmc=CJ-_-1937144-_-2700396-_-9%25+Product+Catalog&PID=2700396)
The InterContinental is, I think, the closest "upscale" hotel to the Bradley Center. However, Hotel Metro or the Pfister would be better IMHO. Most of the visiting teams and bands/artists stay at the Pfister.
For bike shops, Cory's and Crank Daddy's are fine. Another option would be Ben's Cycle (http://www.benscycle.net/) -- especially if you're into fixed gears! Unfortunately, there really are not any bike shops in Milwaukee itself other than those three. If you're willing to go into the 'burbs, there's a few other options.
