Hi,
First post. Recently bought a wonderful bike from Bikes Direct. After a couple hundred miles I brought the bike to a large DFW store to get the derailleur's adjusted. Well, $40 and ten minutes later, they are more out of whack then when I brought it in!!!!

Can anyone recommend a shop in the Las Colinas/Irving area to do a proper tune for me? I am sure I could bring the bike back to the original shop for a free re-tune, but I have lost all faith and feel cheated.

Thank you in advance for your help.

1. Which store was it? Help others out.

2. If you're going the mail order route (NTTAWWT) then you should learn to tune your own stuff. Adjusting a modern indexed derailer is brain dead simple.
See step 6 here: http://www.jimlangley.net/wrench/rrderadjust.htm

Here's another place to learn to DIY:

I'd take it back to the same place and have them redo it.

Thank you for the DIY links. I just switched jobs and did/do not have time to figure it out myself. However, I brought the bike back to the original shop this evening and a different tech readjusted everything and did a great job.

I prefer not to say the name of the shop because they have a good reputation. They have also earn all of my "non tech" business.

Again, thank you for your help and for not making me feel like an idiot :)

glad you got it fixed. I went to a shop today called Bicycles Plus in Coppel/Valley Ranch near Beltline/MacArthur and they seemed VERY friendly. I am not sure how reasonable their work/prices are though...
