So I'm trying to find a bike for the summer. I currently have an older mountain bike that doesn't really fit me and its time for something new or perhaps used. The main purpose of the bike would be for street and paved bike trail riding and for pulling a bike trailer around with my daughter inside. Doing some commuting is not out of the question in the future either. Ideally I'd like to keep my cost around $500 and I'd like to stay away from the super-upright comfort bikes and drop bars. I like the look of the Trek FX or Soho to give a general idea of what I'm looking for. However, the Dynamic Bicycles really have my eye with the chainless drives as do the Breezer bikes with all their fenders and lights although both are a bit more than I would like to spend. I'd appreciate any recommendations you all might be able to give me.

For a great "al'round" bike nothing beats the English Style 3 speed
roadster. Durablity, comfort, reliablity and long term "do it all" use.

The Brits , as well as much of the non-car dependent world, use
the English 3speed for decades , or still yet, to serve their travel
and carry needs. There is no bike on the planet that has such
a sterling record of simple service than the English 3 speed.
