Ottawa - bike rides?

Anyone from Ottawa here? I'm interested in weekend bike rides, maybe in small groups, even pairs. Nothing too serious, maybe 60-80 km, at a commuter pace. I'm not interested in large groups or trying to race each other, hence I'm not particularly looking to join a club, just a good pace for a few hours every now and then.

I like to ride brevets and such at my own reasonable pace. Don't like to race, not interested in how many ounces a particular part weighs, or trying to show off. Could give a rat's ***** about Bicycling Magazine. Just like riding my bike. PM if you're interested some weekend.

I'm from Ottawa... I just recently moved here from Kingston back in Oct. I am also looking for some riding partners! But more trails than road.

Just a suggestion for you guys, why not join the Ottawa Bicycle Club? Its the oldest *and* largest bike club in North America. They have organized rides on Saturday and Sunday as well as Tuesday evening. Each of the rides is divided by pace so whatever your speed you will find a good group to ride with. They are all no-drop rides except for the fastest group. I just joined this year and I've been very pleased so far.
