After owning a bike for years and going on some casual rides, this past season I started riding a lot more. I now live in a more bike-friendly area than ever before and it's another great part of my long term weight reduction (now more weight control) plan. My main ride is a 2003 Bianchi Volpe. It's not the fastest machine in the world, but it's burly enough to carry all my stuff when I commute.
I've also got a couple of old Treks in my garage as a winter project. One's a TX500 from '77 or '78 and the other looks like a slightly more recent 710. I'll probably ride the TX500 because it's a better fit than the 710. the fate of the 710 is undecided.
