Found this 1975 Sports at a garage sale in LaGrange while on a ride. I'm kind of a sucker for old bikes like this, especially ones in this good of shape. I've spent 1.5 hrs only on it so far - it only needed some minor cleanup and a few adjustments. It rides very smoothly, shifts and brakes well. It's apparent this bike doesn't have a lot of miles on it - to me a good way of telling is the pedals have hardly any wear. I think it's completely original except for the tires and the Mickey Mouse bell! And I'm not sure about the kickstand - it's attached to the left rear chainstay, instead of the type that is attached right behind the bottom bracket. Brooks B72 saddle is dried out but I'm treating it with proofhide in order to revive it. The bike is small for me, but it'll be fun to cruise around the 'hood on. It's a thrill to find old bikes like this, give it a new home, and also give it some exercise. Paid $50.
