Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - The Four Horsemen: Team Clydesdale

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Four posters to the Clydesdale/Athena forum have formed Team Clydesdale for the MS City to Shore. This ride takes place September 27 and 28, running from Cherry Hill, NJ to Ocean City, and back the following day. 175 miles total!
Look out for the thundering herd:

Welcome, Darwin. We made sure we had no Creationists in our ranks so no one would object to you. :D

Well, since I was a creationist for years, I wouldn't have objected too loudly either way. :)

NKJV (Neil's King James Version):
"And I looked, and beheld a pale bike: and his name that sat on him was Ben, and Heck followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."
I think you put in dibs for the beasts of the earth....

I never understood the 4 horsemen anyway. Almost everything else of interest in the bible comes in 7, 10 or 12. :)
The 7 days of creation/the week, 7 times 70 (number of times to forgive), the 7 deadly sins (although not biblical, still "Christian"), the 7 seals, 7 weeks of tribulation, 10 commandments, the 10 plagues, the 12 apostles, the 12 tribes of Israel... No 4's, other than the horsemen of the apocolypse...
But, I digress. :D

The Horsemen are drawing nearer
On leather steeds they ride
They've come to take your life
On through the dead of night
With the Four Horsemen ride
Or choose your fate and die

Makes me ALMOST wish I lived in PA. ;) Then you'd have a Marxist Atheist among you as well ;)

Ahem, I think John, Matthew, Mark, and Luke all would differ with you. You may want to rethink this 'gospel truth' of yours. :D

I don't think Indianans are allowed to talk down to Pennsylvanians. That's just my take. ;)

A group of friends and I took the Political Compass test. Almost everyone in the group except for two of us were decidedly liberal both socially and economically.
The two of us were very near the middle in both directions, and were labelled as "flaming moderates" by one of the more liberal in the group.
So, I gladly wear the label of "flaming moderate agnostic"

So who gets to be Famine?
j/k
Whens the deadline to sign up? There may be something happening that weekend that I'm helping to organize but if not than I'm in if you don't have space requirements.

We only have space requirements when we don't ride single file.

You can sign up any time before the ride. Keep in mind we may order jerseys, so you'd probably want to join the team before we do that.
Cool - let me know when. I'll know in a month or two.
