Northern California - 2007 Lemond Sarthe

Im not sure if this is the right spot for this or not. I placing it in here cause I am living in northern california at the moment.

I am and have been trying to locate a new 2007 Lemond Sarthe size 55 or 57 for sometime now.
I know that the 2008 models are out and I have checked them out and are not happy with the color scheme. I really like the look of the 07 model.

Can anyone point me towards a site that still has the 07 model in stock or if someone knows someone who is selling theirs - please let me know.

There has got to be a new Sarthe 07 sitting in a shop somewhere - right?

I punched in a Sacramento zip code. Some phone calls you make may well track one down.

You know that LeMond Bicycles is going out of business, right? I think dealers have been cutting their stock since the beginning of the year. You should expect selection at local stores to be very spotty.

That bike just got harder to find over this past week. LeMond and Trek are apparently very done now. I would also add in places like local mom and pop shops. They may not list as dealers but that doesn't mean they don't hold some random inventory.

Damn, I had just "discovered" LeMond, and they're going out of business? A nicely-equipped yet affordable road bike made of really nice steel? Not much of that out there these days.

Yeah - I heard about the split - after talking with many people about this, I am confident that Lemond will carry on without Trek.

An update to my Lemond Sarthe 07 hunting - I found the bike in a shop about a 1/2 hour from my house.
"Village Peddler" out in Larkspur, Ca - Great bunch of guys working out there and they got me an excellent deal on the bike. Ive been riding it non stop since I got it and I am in love with it.

I cant say enough good thing about that shop - I was helped by Fernando, he spent over an hour with me tuning the bike to fit my body and answering all my questions.
