Texas - Random but.... I need a job in DFW!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm coming home from living in Oklahoma for 3 years. Back to Dallas/Fort Worth.
I'm getting married and am looking for a decent Job to help support a new family. Looking everywhere and would love to work for or with other cyclist's. I love to ride my bike to work and with friends as often as possible at velodromes and longer road trips.
Anyway, I've been in college for 3 years studying journalism and film. I can email my resume to you if you have anything but I'm really open to anything.
I work well with everything from computers to outdoor work. If you have anything available I'm available immediately.
Thanks very much
Joe

Joe, come out to the Superdrome tonight and shake hands with everyone. Bring extra copies of your resume!
I'll be there, look for lugged steel bike that's painted Celeste but it's not a Bianchi.

Look at the bottom of the page there will be a link to Jobs@fossil. Our corporate offices are in Richardson with one DC there and we have our bigger DC in Dallas. I work in the one in Dallas. We are always hiring and I am not sure what your looking to get into but we have all sorts of jobs. Oh yea and some bosses allow yu to park you bikes in your cubes if you commute in on them. There is not policy that can't but I got a cool boss who got me a place to store my change of clothes and tool but he reguires I keep my bike in my cube or in a storage closet to keep the other clowns I work with from trying to ride it.
Good luck.

Thank you guys for the tips. I created a profile and submitted one to Fossil thanks!
I never even thought of coming out to the superdrome to network. Frisco isn't too far away. I have a catering tasting tonight in grand prairie, but I am going to start socializing at the superdrome more. Thank you very much.
In the past four days i have submitted close to 21 resumes. This is my first "career" search and I had no idea it would be this overwhelming and difficult. Thanks for your advice and keep it coming! I'm taking it all in and using it to my advantage.

Be sure to make it out to the Matrix track weekend at the Superdrome (next weekend? check the TXBRA schedule). Will be a big turnout, lots of riders there and you know we are an affluent professional bunch.
