Hi I'm looking at converting my 2006 Felt F80 road bike to a cyclocross setup.
I know that it's possible, but is it worth my time/money? Should I just sell it and start over?
Can I put thicker tires on it despite the road style brakes? Is the lower BB really a big issue? Will I regret having a road carbon fiber fork? These are all the questions racing through my head... Please help!!

Swap the frame/fork and buy cantis. Sell the frame & fork & calipers. Modern road bikes have barely enough clearance for 23s, no way enough for 32s.
+1000 Good way to trash your road bike though. You can pick up a decent used cyclocross bike for less than $500.
I've fit 700x28c Zaffiro Pros on my F50 for supported touring but I would never consider racing cross with them.
