I just spent the entire day conducting Lean Manufacturing classes.

I proceeded to then come home and eat ice cream.

I am so......not lean.

As long as you ate all of the ice cream I think you're ok. If there was some left over then you're not lean. Or was it if you ran out you're not lean? :D

Wel....my pudginess will be in full effect Just In Time for the New Glarus ride.

....and I have decided that discussing what group I will be in when I get dropped is purely Muda.

why is it that every single thread I have read today at some point mentions ice cream (including the one in which I was the first person to mention it)?

must be a sign

So long as you had single piece flow I think you're OK. Are you saying you didn't eat it right out of the container? That would be a problem ... and ... not lean.

Ooh, ooh, can I sign up???

After something as mind numbing as that, I will feel no pain that any hill in New Glarus can offer. ;):D

JIT is fun up until you've got a supplier out of stock, a client screaming at you, and you pay a premium to some secondhand shop to get what you need.

As long as it works 90% of the time, though...

....mmm Ice Cream......

After a night of watching what people cough up at the hospital ... I have no appetite for ice cream.

:(

Ahhh....we'll save that discussion for a long meandering road sometime.

Contrary to popular belief I actually made it interesting. No one fell asleep and that is a first for here. I had them moving around and "producing" product and timing processes though...:D

Glad I stayed in physics.

Engineers have way more fun than I could handle.

Gee, I didnt get to do anything remotely fun today, well, except for when I got to Tase a defense attorney at a bar association meeting. I was asked to come in and do a demonstration on Tasers and one brave soul, (fool) actually cowboyed up and took a ride. Only 3 seconds, not the full 5 like us real men, but what the hey, he's an attorney, not like he's human anyway. (I'm just kidding for all you attorney's out there)

I went to the New Glarus brewery site but did not see info on their calendar for a ride. What is this ride?
