Rides and Races - Friday night lights atl
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Since the weather is getting nicer, I am going to try to bring back one of the older traditions I heard died out.
I have done alone and I would enjoy doing it with a crowd.
Lets see some Friday night lights!
Where Start: Margaret Mitchell Square (top side of Woodruff park in Downtown)
When Start: we launch @ 11pm next friday night (4/18/08)
Where Going: Corkscrew @ GSU, fly up P'tree, fly down P'tree
I will try to find a prize or something.

i recently found your site and read alot of it and have really enjoyed it/gotten quite a few good laughs.

I dont know if i can make skid row, I have to go home to spend a week in the hospital in a couple of weeks.

Got ya. Well I hope that goes well, and I hope to see you around!

Sounds good. Hopefully the scene is big enough in Atl to support weekly events now.
Are you just racing from Woodruff Park to the corkscrew? Or are you racing up peachtree and turning around somewhere?
The corkscrew is pretty fun. I made it the first checkpoint in the last broken hearts I planned. You might still be able to see the arrows I painted on the ground warning about the plastic poles halfway up.

I guess you've discovered the fact that no one from atlanta is on bikeforums. Ever.
It sucks but it's the way its always been.
