The website from which I found the picture says its a Trek 1500 2003 model. I'm just not convinced it is. But I may be wrong.

It does appear to be the 1500, but in the non-US range of bikes. Odd, I thought they did away with the USPS logos due to licensing issues. http://www.buyabike-uk.com/products.php?show=339

I'd be incredibly wary of anything this site says. Assuming these bikes are stock, which the site seems to be claiming, they're charging WAY more than MSRP, despite saying that you're getting a huge savings. MSRP on a stock 1500 is $1100, not the $3200 they claim. Basically, I'd guess that it IS a 1500, since the specs seem right, but that they're drastically overcharging.

Or quite possibly I could look at the URL before talking about price. Silly Australia, having dollars, too. Anyway, that would support BigFloppyLlama's claim that it's non-US.

There we are, I knew I had seen it before. Definitely a 1500 from 2003 then.
It was the USPS logo that had me wondering about what it was. But it seems like its the real deal. I really like the look of it over the 04 model. I've been trying the LBS's to see if they still have stock in my size but no luck so far - only 58cm frames.
And that price of $3200 they claim seems high even for here in Australia. I know the 04 model retails for $2799.
Thanks for clearing that up.
