I sold my winterbeater with it's studded tires and I have been using my fixie with 700c Nokian 106 this winter. On some rides I have seen the need for more studs, so I was very pleased today when I could pick up a pair of Nokian Extremes in VGC for 20$ at a fleamarket. I also picked up a quite nice 93 GT Tequesta for 40$ so next years winterbeater may be here already.

I took my nokian 294's off last night. All of the studs still there. In great shape after a 500 mile winter on alot of pavement.
