If there's maintenance scheduled to take the site down, is there a way to post that so the members know? Not buried in an announcement thread, but perhaps something at the top? Or if it's a regular 3am Saturday schedule, make that known?

For scheduling rides and communicating to each other with last minute updates or attendance, it's good to know in advance that the site won't be a resource that's available to do so.

Thanks...

We'd also like a schedule of the unplanned down time.

Srsly, good idea. I second.

The folks at IB don't give us a schedule. It's really too bad about last night - we didn't find out about the downtime until late Friday when most of us were out engaging in Friday night activities. We certainly had no idea it would last as long as it did.

 Wow. That's beyond unprofessional.

Well, in their defense, most of the downtime in the last few months have been emergency measures to fix our ongoing problems with the database. As in, very last-minute.
