Ebay frames

Has anyone had any experience with a no name copy of a name brand frame from asia on ebay? I want to switch over to a tri setup but don't have the money. Just looking for a decient set up for casual use. Any input on these kind of frames?

i bought my frame off of craigslist locally for $45. it has a few scratches from a few years of use, but overall its in good shape. and it was the right size, and it weighs 3.2 lbs (it did not come with a fork).

I have purchased a number of very inexpensive aluminum and aluminum/carbon frames on eBay. I recommend Fetish and Windsor. The exact same Windsor frame was being sold as a Motobecane for $100 more. Perfectly acceptable quality, nothing fancy. I have also purchased a Leader time trial frame which had a number of problems.

I believe the basic mechanical construction of these frames is the same as any mid-range frame, regardless of the brand. With a well-known brand you get a better paint and decal job, but for a lot more $$.
