Well the message from the dr's official. After landing 6-7ft off a jump wrong onto my hand and face, I've broken the bone connecting my right ring finger to my hand. He said I could still ride as long as it's slow and on flat ground.
My commute is half very rough pavement and half smooth. I recently sold my commuter so all I have now is my light weight roadie and my stumpjumper FSR.
Before I get a new commuter, which is most likely some kind of cross bike, for at least the next month and a half or so, I'm gonna be taking the stumpy full suspension to work. That's sure gonna look weird when I see the usual commuters on the road and they're on their fixies and I'm no longer on my track bike...
Anyway, the thing currently has these tires, http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCEqProduct.jsp?spid=35741
Eventually I'm gonna replace em anyway, you guys think its better for the next month and a half to ride the 9 miles each way on them or get some 26x1.5 slicks? I can stand to save the $30 or so by not getting the slicks.
