Hello everybody. I am really just looking for the name/number of the couple of main roads that the Trans American Route from Adventure Cycling uses. I am basically doing this route but with many side trips from that route planned. But I am having trouble figuring out exactly which roads it takes. On google maps I am not even sure if some of the roads are listed or available to an electronic map. Any help would go a long way. Thank you much.

You could read some journals on CGOAB, most people write about what roads they took.

Yeah I am on CGOAB. Just started a trip journal as I will be leaving in two weeks. I have the first 500 definitively planned out. I have much work to do for the rest of the trip though. Not too many people mention whether there were a lot of cars on roads or if it's a highway or what.

You might try this link: http://tsteven4.qwestoffice.net/

It has many ACA routes plotted on a map, including the Transamerica Route.

Awesome Ray. That is basically exactly what I was looking for. I can at least figure out what exact roads I need to be on. That is an excellent resource, and I will hopefully be able to return the favor to the next tour newby that needs it.
