Commuting - Just a big thanks to everyone

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I got my Salsa - it is very fine, thank you everyone who gave me great advice. You have improved one of the best things in my life which is jumping on a bicycle. I've posted my initial experiences in the hybrid vs cyclocross thread.
I've not been here long but it is great, there is always great advice and I don't feel so isolated anymore.
The Robert Hurst that wrote The art of Urban cycling turns up now and again. :)
Rick turns up here and he does Yehuda. :) (teehee got my Yehuda shirt yesterday):)
Sad that I never witnessed a Sheldon thread, his pages have been Little miracles to me at times:(
Its a good place to hang out this :)

I bought a set of commerical lights as they are cheap, whilst I'm sourcing stuff to build Cyccomutes's homemade lights - the commerical lights are pretty rubbish tbh. You can see my first effort of a homemade light made from one of those pondlights, on Franco, heavy as hell but worked a treat; I miss 50watts of lighting.
sorry about the pic quality. You can see Franco here, having a rest from commuting, (the Giant), My Folly the Trek 8500 and the wife's Trek 4700. Also Inca-Chick makes and appearance!
Christ I love Salsas. The matching stems they put on their complete bikes are awesome.
Dare I say that that's amazingly, inarguably, intensely orange? :)
Beautiful bike. Congrats!
