I'm doing this backwards, since I've already asked for help (great replies all) on the Classic and Vintage Forum. Anyway, I live in Alexandria, Va, ride a 1980 Schwinn Continental converted to single speed. Since around December I've been trying to commute to work a couple of days a week. I've only been riding regularly for about the last year or so, but it's been good for my soul.

Hey Tom,

Do you commute downtown DC or someplace else?

I live in Kingstowne and commute a couple times a week to DC and back.

Nothing like commuting to make work mentally easier.

Someplace else -- I live in Old Town and commute to Seminary Road/Beauregard Street (the Mark Center area).
