Finished the build of the Specialized Roubaix Comp I worked on over the winter. It's finished! And I'm happy with how it looks, rides, etc. Here are some pics, if I can get them to upload properly.

I like that a lot.....What stem and handlebar combo are you using???
I had a Roubaix that I really liked a lot, but it was a bit large for me and I've been thinking lately that I should try and find another frame my size...This may push me over the edge.....Good Job.

I took my time building this, partly to enjoy the process, partly so I wouldn't make a mistake I couldn't undo (carbon fiber, y'know).
With the exception of the Dura-Ace chain, it's Ultegra throughout.
Handlebar is a Deda shortreach with Ritchey WCS 110-mm stem (put a 120-mm on it first but it was a bit too long). Rise on the stem is +/- 17 degrees, bringing the bars up even with, if not slightly higher, than the seat. That's the way I need it these days to avoid neck and shoulder pain.
A Specialized Elite for a commuter bike sounds pretty cool, but I'd never want to let it out of my sight if I ever had to go into a place.
The build was a fun project. Now I'm thinking of getting a Soma Smoothie ES frame and building it up with a straight bar and using that for my commuter bike (using a Bianchi Volpe now).
I'll let you know how the Specialized rides, once it gets warmer and the winds die down around here.
