i am currently looking at purchasing this bike. I was wondering if anyone on the forum has tried it or has one and what they think.

I have about 1500 canadian to spend and suggestions are welcome

other than having parts that ar hard as hell to find, it's probably a great bike. and it'll be pretty expensive too. in terms of replacing wheels and fork should the need arise.

My dad has a Mt. Tam 29 which is a 2 or so year model of the same thing. He is 6'7" tall and loves it. He has always struggled with finding a bike with a long enough wheel base.

I have a 29er but not made by Fisher. Those big wheels will roll over anything. The only problem I've encountered so far is the lack of choice in tires. I use the WTB 29 inch tires and find them quite good for everything except for mud.

i am going to test ride it today and i will let you know how it goes. I am also going to take a sugar 3 fs for for a spin to see if i want to go that route.

it is a lot more money though
