I've been riding my lejeune for over 30 years and would like to make it look new again--I think it deserve it. Is it possible to find a set of frame decals and 531 stickers. I'd consider turning it into a gitane tour de france or a peugeo px10 but would feel guilty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Check eBay. You might be able to find the Reynolds decal. Also check with the closest motorcycle custom shop. They might be able to reproduce it.

French 531 decals are pretty rare. If you do check
e-bay check the French site.
Also check on Classified atClassic Rendezvous (http://www.classicrendezvous.com/main.htm), also get onto list and post wanted ad.
I'd also check with CycleArt (http://www.cyclart.com/) or other
restoration shops.
Don't make it a TdF or something its not.

As you can see in the "show us your classic ride" thread, CyclArt did a great job refinishing my Capo, complete with a white head tube to show off the unique ornate lugs, a genuine replacement "diagonal" 531 decal (English; German would have been fun on an Austrian bike, but apparently only the French ever demanded non-English 531 decals), and very authentic-looking white drop-shadow CAPO downtube decals custom-made by Susan. However, they resell or make decals only for the bikes they paint. I spent more than I had originally intended, the final result is stunning, and the bike is rare and well-crafted enough to merit it. I would not be inclined to spend anywhere near as much having one of my Peugeot workhorses repainted.
