Is there a way to post a picture in our profile without having a url? I don't know what a url is specifically so I must not have one. :(

Sure thing Gus, go ahead and attach your image to a post in this thread, then click on the image URL (link), just copy the address of the image to the picture profile in your user control panel.

The url for the attached image should look something like this: http://www.bikeforums.net/attachment.php?s=&postid=32653

If anyone else wants to do it this way, feel free to attach your image in this thread, thanks! :)

Looks good Joe! My computer started to act up a bit, I had to reboot. I think when you were working on my photo I was trying to do the same while at the same time learning what I needed to do. You got it right. Thanks.

Hey Rich, Click on the picture you attatched, go up to the address bar, copy the URL. Then go into your control panel, Next go to edit profile, scroll down to the bottom and it will have "Your Picture". Just paste the URL you just copied right in the little gray box on the right!! Cheers!

I tried it, and it's not showing...maybe the picture is too big?

Thanks, aerobat! Don't let the smile fool you, though. I was pedaling into a 20-mph headwind at mile 96 of the Holstein Hundred Century and was plenty pissed off!
