Last Monday I started feeling somewhat off colour. I assumed it was Hay Fever.
I rode home from work that afternoon and entered my day's riding details onto my spreadsheet. Whoohoo! I had hit 10 000 km for the year.
I was looking forward to continuing to build up the kilometres but woke up on Tuesday feeling dreadful. It was more than just Hay Fever. I've got some awful flu like virus. The doctor prescribed rest and some cold & flu tablets to reduce the symptoms.
I am slowly getting over it but I could certainly do without it. I usually recover more quickly - but not this time.
So here I am - waiting it out.
I can't wait to get back on the bike and see just how many kilometres I can get in before the end of the year.
