Mine doesn't entirely fit ATM. By mid summer it should be fine, then I'll be wearing it.

Depends on which bike I'm wearing!

My Klein is a weird color... lot's of clashing but at the Tierra bella I'll be on my Trek with my BikeForums 50's Red jersey. BTW It was interesting to hear some S**t talking on the RoadBike Review about NorCal. To be honest I've gone on there and that stuff turns me off so I don't bother anymore. I think if more people think like I do here than they may loose adverti$ing revenue. They may want to check it before they wreck it. I actually find the lay out cumbersome and doesn't seem as friendly....but hey my 2 cents.....listen do I hear the theme for West Side story?

Sorry to spoil the fun, but safety comes first for me, so I almost always wear a bright yellow jersey or jacket. I think maintaining high visibility is an important component of safe bicycling.

I never have to worry about that...I'm too scary looking for anyone to come near me. I've probably caused more car crash's and screaming children than anyone! I alway's make sure to put on an ugly scowel before leaving the house. When the wifey starts wretching, then I know... "Mission Accomplished"

Hehe. I was about to create pose that exact same question.
I wouldn't mind another wind vest with a matching design.
Maybe a bright color for 2008. White with Royal Blue?

I didn't see anything NorCal specific. But there is this (http://forums.roadbikereview.com/showthread.php?t=127727&highlight=bikeforums)where some RBR members were talking smack.

Let's suit up in our cool NorCal Jerseys and meet 'em in some back alley while music from Westside Story plays in the background.

I ride in mine all the time. Just to annoy SoCal people as I pass them. :D
Once SoCal gets around in getting a new Jersey I was thinking of wearing it in NorCal, but then I remembered that I suck on the hills.

you can change the viewing options on rbr with a drop down menu, that makes it default to the same format as BF. Having said that, I don't go there very often -- I have my hands full just keeping up with all the activity in NorCal and Road Cycling forums on BF and having some kind of real world life as it is...maybe I just need to learn to read more quickly.

Its all personal preference. RBR has a few trolls, just like we do here, albeit the trolls on RBR go nutzo a lot faster and start pimping their E-stats at the drop of a hat.

I've never really had a problem on either forum. Every forum I've been on has the same problems, trolls and a-holes. There will always be folks that think they are bad@ss when behind a keyboard. Just don't take them too seriously and you can coexist on any forum. Or if you have a problem with someone take it off line and discuss it via PM instead of adding to the problem by posting crap yourself.

As for the OP's question... I haven't worn my norcal jerseys lately as the two rides I went on so far have been sponsored by RBR. Plus I have written the occassional product review for them and I am on a Waves to Wine team for 2008 semi-sponsored by RBR. :D

But when I have time I still haunt both boards.

I wear mine about every 5th ride. When we ride the tandem more often, since we ten toward OCP.

A new, lighter-colored one would be a great addition to our jersey collection.

Hey Pete,

I didn't ask the question to incite any kind of "war" or grudge, I was just curious. I've met many friends here in norcal and wouldn't allow someone to talk s**t about you norcal folk...

I personally did not see any crap slinging from the NorCal subforum of RBR. I have plenty of time in my hands,, and did some searching yesterday and only found the one from the general discussion group.

BTW, the last group ride you guys had looked like it was a lot of fun too. When is the next one?

Hey Andy! I believe Siu's comment was directed at me! hahah!

To tell you the truth I actually haunt BF more than RBR. Just habit, like coming home and looking in the fridge even though I'm not hungry or know that there isn't anything in there! LOL!

And like Andy my wife had other plans for me the day of the odd ball ride. If it makes you feel better I missed the RBR ride too!

But seriously, my job has been throwing this stuff called, maybe you guys have heard of it, WORK at me on a daily basis! It really sucks and cuts into my 'net time here in the office! Oh well... I'll try tokeep up as much as possible. I'm just limited nowadays. :( Sorry Siu! But I still love you and BF! ;)

I know that it was just one of those things I came across over there that took me the wrong way and I'd been sitting on it for a while and it just came out, so no flame, or crap from me, just trying to get through life with a minimal amount of stress... My work gives me plenty of that, I come here to relax.:)
So this time I'll really shut up and won't mention it again. Nuff said, and I am wearing my 50's BF jersey Sat. BTW wore my NorCal jersey today and not one egg was thrown at me:)

Even though my jersey is in the regular rotation, this thread made me want to wear it for my race last night. I'll post more photos once the race photographer gets them up on his site.

I should start a new thread: Does anyone wear their Norcal jerseys other than on the road?
