Speedplay "Track Special" ???

I'm looking into some Speedplays and I notice they make a "Track Special" with higher release tension.

Anybody using those vs regular Zero's / X's? Comments? Should I be worried about running regular Zero's on the track?

I run zeros on the track. I also know a handfull of other guys that do too. No issues to report.

It seemed like half the guys running clipless toward the end of my career were running Speedplay, but I can't recall seeing any of them pull out, unlike Look, Time, SPD etc. I don't think they had any special Track cleat back then, a time we will say was during the Clinton administration.
