I hear that's a really nice ride, with one caveat. It's the hottest, muggiest week of the year. I volunteered to be a local ambassador last year, and had to cancel due to the weather. I can't imagine what the people on the trip went through.

Unfortunately, the trail isn't complete across New York state, but every year it gets closer. The plan is to have it be a continuous trail from Buffalo to Albany in the next few years.

I've ridden it from Rochester to Macedon, and I ride the section from Rochester to Pittsford daily as part of my commute.
