Texas - Non-Bike: Job Transistion Brown Bag Lunch

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Please speak for yourself about avoiding church. I cycle and enjoy my regular church attendance. Maybe you should try it.........

Maybe that dude should keep his spam off the cycling board, and you should keep your evangelizing to yourself.

I think "that dude" was only trying to help in case someone is needing help in finding employment.
I am not evangilizing any more than you are advocating to avoid church...and if you want to eschew church, that's between you and whoever or whatever you might believe in - I know what I believe in.
If jdrosari joined, and only posted notices such as the one above, it is spam. I did not find anything "evangelizing" about jaws' post. I am not a moderator here, but do a lot of moderating in real life; let's please keep it positive; I see enough conflict at work, and would rather not see it here. FWIW, having "aiki" as part of one's user name makes a certain statement, too, and I would jump all over someone who poked a stick at anything to do with "aiki." :) Yes, I know "fundamentalist" Christians who are critical of Eastern martial arts.

I'm always amazed that if you mention going to church you're somehow labled a fanatic, but if you put down any Christian churchgoers you are considered politically correct. Maybe someone has a guilt complex.

Actually, I am a churchgoer - probably more active than some of you. But I still can't abide those who spam and thrust their faith into people's faces. It does no good.

Going to church has no attraction to me, but I also have no problem with the OP.
Post on!

Hallelujah they go to church. Now lets hold hands and sing songs about baby Jesus. I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself, this thread was entertaining. It is always good to see people stick up for their beliefs and not back down.
BTW: I go to church too incase you were wondering. :)

How about some good ole falling to the floor and rolling around while someone yells "let Satan out....you are healed..." or we could stick with snake handling.

We could handle snakes while riding bikes to church. :) Then, upon arrival, "Here, please hold my snake while I lock up my bike." :) Of course, afterward, we could have "Dinner on the Ground;" brown-bagged, of course, or perhaps everyone could bring a covered dish. Eh, oh well, my lame attempt at humor after being awake for 26 hours. I hate Mondays.
I'm not a church going guy, but if I'm looking for work, I appreciate any new avenue to explore that I can get.
That said, the OP was probably not appropriate for the forum.

Oh no, Rex! Leave your snake ON THE BIKE. That way you can be pretty sure it won't get stolen.
