Hey all, I know there's some K-townies around here! Where do you guys like to ride? Especially around the UT campus. I usually ride down the Greenway by Neyland and out to the 3rd Creek Greenway or out to south Knox to Ijams nature park. They're getting a little old for everyday riding! What am I missing out on?

Quite a few cyclists (including me) ride the out-and-back loop on Cherokee Boulevard off the Third Creek Greenway.

What kind of riding are you looking to do? Are you comfortable riding on the roads (with traffic)?

I am cool with riding on the roads. The problem is that I'm super slow still! So busy roads or big uphills tend to REALLY annoy the drivers around me :D

Get in touch with some of the bike shops in Knoxville, especially West Bicycles. Get on their e-mail newsletter list. They offer regular rides for different skill and endurance levels. They also have some routes, but most of them are out around Farragut and beyond. They have some of their rides posted on their site at westbicycles.com. Also check sites like routeslip.com and bikely.com. Search for Knoxville rides.
