Thanks - it is our goal to use as much of the tree as we can - usually most of the tree goes to waste which given the scarcity of fine wood, a shame really.

Impressive to say the least. I will bet that they do not have access to all of the fine wood working tools that one might find in a high end shop here in the US! I have a good friend that is a wood carver and has done quite a bit of work for Disney. I know he would be impressed with the beauty, simplicity and finish.

Well, you might be surprised how good their tools are since I buy them all. We own the shop (and the plantations connected to it) so we make sure they have really good tools.
We built the wood shop back in December, and we are already tripling the size.

So where do you sell your wood goods?
I collect boxes of all kinds and love that wormy laurel (what's the botanical name?). I'd love to have a box like that.

We have a distributor in the USA (Florida) Tropical Latitudes - their website is http://www.tropiclat.com/
None of these things are yet in their hands - but they have a container we are filling in the next 2 to 3 months - but I think they will be taking orders.
