BTW, your design looks good with the checkers. Only concern is the all white showing things that should not be shown especially the bib. If you know what I mean.;)

Well once a few (four maybe) designs are finalized, we'll put out a poll to determine the final one.
There have only been 3-4 submissions so far and I haven't kept count of interested persons to see if there's even 10 people interested.

On the checker design, but the area of concern on the short/bib is royal blue so show-through shouldn't be a problem but "interesting shadows" may be. The bib/shorts are optional so people can wear their basic black.

I thought X did a nice job with the faded text.. But then again, majority rules on the decision, and it was only a suggestion anyway, regardless I thought it was a nice touch, kind of stretched the design and used the whole jersey.

Then again, there is curtis, who gives the always reliable idea of simple is better, agree on that one too.. Why not just a total mutant??

Instead of "Mount Tam - Mount Diablo - Mount Hamilton", how about "Tamalpais - Diablo - Hamilton" With the full spelling of Tamalpais, it fills the space pretty well, especially with a larger font!Already addressed the Tamalpais issue in the last design. WRT the list of climbs, howzabout each contingent (North Bay, East Bay, South Bay, and Peninsula" each choose two "signature" climbs for their region (and apologies to those outside the Bay Area). These would be the ones that EVERYONE rides, and can identify with.This sounds good. I think eight names could fit on the lower arc without being cluttery.

It was a good suggestion, and worth giving a shot to. But I do agree that too many elements were starting to appear, and there was getting to be too much going on. Plus, like I said, it probably wouldn't have been as smooth and subtle on an actual jersey as it looks on a simple vector drawing.

The real North Bay would include Kings Ridge as the most notable climb up here, Cardiac Hill pales by comparison. Peugot design is really nice.

I'd really like to see more people submitting designs, to be honest. Even if they're just less-refined general ideas. Choice is good! I seem to remember there being more last year, though I could be wrong about that.

Last year, there was the one by AzureDrpTp that looked kinda like the Discovery jersey.
It was dark so didn't make the final cut but Thien got enough interest to make get separate batch of them made.

I took a design frm last year, tried to make it simpler and lighter colored. Plus added some stuff.

My thinking was using your back with my front, just changing the base color to creme.

Plus it's a fairly bland star to begin with.

I was gonna post a "design", but photoshop keeps crashing, so I'll describe it instead. it was orange, grey and white, and on the back there was a big arrow pointing up (for North), with 'Nor' and 'Cal' stacked vertically inside the bar of the arrow. Behind the arrow was a semi-circle representing the setting sun which faded from red to yellow.
