Does anyone know if Surly makes (or MADE) a 120mm flip-flop hub that takes a fixed on one side and ss freewheel on the other? One website that lists one (not sure if its 120mm) but the surly catalog seems to differ. I have a road bike and would like the option to switch around between fixed and freewheel. Maybe I need a different kind of hub?

you can use the regular surly fixed/fixed flip flop and just put a freewheel on one side...

i think they did make fixed/freewheel hub for 128mm or 125mm spacing..or maybe it was 130mm?

The 120mm fixed/fixed fits the bill. Fixed cogs and freewheels have the same threads. As another poster said, just put a freewheel on one side and you'll be set.

BTW, it's a good product for the money. I have the fixed/fixed and the MTB free/free and both see a lot of abuse and keep on rolling.
