What's the largest age difference between you and the person that you have been with, or are currently with?

When she hits 36, trade her in for two 18-year-olds.
Magic rule is half your age plus seven years.
The largest difference I've dated is nine years my junior, and in the other direction six years my senior.

I'm 41, he's 32. No big deal now, but he was 22 when this whole thing started.
Biggest difference in years was about 8 younger. That one failed the famous half age + seven test and wasn't really a good idea.
My current girlfriend is 1 year younger.

That doesn't really work for BOTH people involved. You'll keep doing math until you both stop existing. :D
It also doesn't work too well until you're 21, too. Unless you like legal troubles.

My wife is 10 years older. I'm just freaky like that.
Last time I brought a girl home, she and my grandmother started reminiscing about their time in high school together. :(

I hope you're grandmother is a teacher--or really REALLY stupid.
If you are 20 date divorced 30 year olds. If your 50 date divorced 30 year olds.

Ehhh, the oldest guy I dated was 23 years older. T'was the cliche middle aged guy (but he looked 30! I swear!) with barely out of teens girl relationship. Wasn't so bad--after all, it lasted 7-ish months.
Teh bf, the current and hopefully forever and ever SO, is six months younger.

No matter what age you are you can still get an eighteen year old Ukranian mail-order bride with all her shots for fairly cheap.
Ex boyfriend was 11 yrs younger. We went out for probably 6 years-were informally engaged, were great friends before becoming a couple and it didn't work out. Broke up, didn't talk to him for a year and then we started talking again and are back to being good friends - which is preferable.
I seem to mostly go out with younger guys.
5 years, but it really depends on what the ages are. When one is 16, it's bad. When one is 26, not so much.

Depends on if she is MILF material or not. Actually, I prefer not to get involved if she has a kid.

Thirteen years younger, and yes, at the time it passed the 1/2 age plus 7 test. My wife is 6 years younger.
Biggest age difference for me was about 2-3 years?
I was 18-19 she was 21-22

I have always dated within a year or two of my own age. It isn't about the number directly, but rather it has to do with where people are in their lives, and age generally does reflect this (except my dad who dates 20 year olds because he is in a place of his life where 20 year olds usually are, so it works for him).
The youngest date I had was when I was 26 and she was 22. I felt like I was on a date with a child and I couldn't take it: she was just out of college, never lived on her own, her family made all of her choices for her. I, on the other hand, had owned a house, was married before, had car payments, two established careers, etc.
The oldest date I ever had was 3 years older than I was. Perhaps to her I was the child.
My wife is a year and two months younger than I am. We are equals. It's perfect.

when I was 19, I dated a 29 year old. Didn't work. When I was31, I dated a 21 year old. Didn't work ( although the results were much better) I wouldn't go younger than 5 years now, but now that i'm 33, as long as we were on the same page, I would might still go 10 over my own age, but that would be pushing it. Case in point. My physical therapist is ten years older than me, but she looks younger than me, and is the most awesome person.....but she's married. If she wasn't? game on!
:) Tonite I'm going out with a guy who's 6 yrs younger.
I try to stay within a few days. 5-6, maybe.
;)
My SO is almost 5 years younger, I'm 27.

Depends on what you are looking for, a long term relationship or just fun. If it is long term you are are going to be better off staying closer to your own age, if it fun as long as it is legal and your not taking advantage of anyone and you enjoy each other age doesn't matter. I have dated women 10 years older than me and 25 years younger, I have had good times with both. I'm 51.
when I was 25 I dated a 41 year old woman for awhile. It was good.

Always the 2-7 rule, if the person is younger than the legal age of your state/province then defer to the legal age of the state.
My experience has been very varied, good relationship between 28-19, bad with 28-22, that was when I was 28, and when I was younger I dated a 28 yr old.

12 years older than me and 10 years younger. Neither ended on account of age difference issues.

THe biggest gap in age I've had has been 12 years. She was older than me, but didn't look it. Ultimately though she wasn't comfortable with having to explain why she was involved with someone 12 years younger than her, so it didn't work out. As a general guideline...I use 8 years younger or 12 years older. But that's flexible depending on the person's life experiences. I've know people much younger that have been thourhg a lot and are very worldly and mature, and then I know people much older that act like they are still in high school, so age is not a big factor for me.
Married 4 years younger than me. Just met a guy married to a woman 12 years younger and a woman married to a guy 9 years younger. Whatever works, I guess.
