my fixed gear is currently at a fire station.

I was riding home from the bike shop I work at and I had another seizure and passed out.
when i came to I was surrounded by emts and what not.

spent three hours in the hospital for the same information as usual.
"you seem fine, give us money and go home"

My family wants me to give up cycling until the dr's get things sorted out. considering the fact it has been 9 months now with no improvement I didn't take the news very well.

Truly sucks.

Your family is clearly worried about you. That's a gift.

I wish you the best.

Well, you obviously can't drive. They don't want you riding a bike. How do the family propose that you get around? Take a taxi everywhere?

I'm really sorry to hear that you aren't getting diagnosed properly. We can't afford to lose you, c0urt!

Court, have you thought of gettng a trike? Less worry about falling off and hurting yourself and you would be closer to the ground if something happened.

I hope you and your DR. can get this figured out soon.

Hmm have you tried surgery? I saw some show where this lady had seizures and she got brain surgery to make it better.

they put surgery on the table.
I have to spend most of the next week in the hospital in the epilepsy ward of uab. doing test and stuff.
no bike and stuff. sniff sniff.

Good luck dude - I hope surgery isn't inevitable and they find some other means of fixing/curing/preventing the seizures...

...like a frying pan upside the head maybe? :D Only joking, but it does seem to work if you're a cartoon character.
