Introductions - Greetings from Canterbury in the UK

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

A born again older slow road racer riding a Trek madone 5.2 and Focus cyclocross. A now 'ex' keen runner of marathons but banned by the family( although I may sneakily train for the New York marathon one year), hence returning to cycling and enjoying every minute of it. If you do not know where Canterbury is located then remember the stage one finish of the Tour de France 2007 which was at Canterbury. I ride mainly coastal rural routes and just love the ever present coastal wind blowing me backwards.

Just remember that the wind makes you stronger, and that when you show up in NYC for the marathon, you will be better conditioned than virtually anyone else there :) .

The town where I live here in the US is named after the county where Canterbury is located :) .

Welcome to BF!
