Brookline Bikes Beacon Bicycle Parade
Sunday, May 18, 2008 12:30 PM
Bicycle Beacon Street like you've never done before. Ride the entire Brookline length of this historic boulevard car free. You'll do a five-mile loop with Brookline Police leading the way, riding with you, and covering your back. Like a parade! This is a free, family-friendly, community way to celebrate bicycling. Though single riders must be 10 years old or older and able to maintain 10 mph, this is basically a parade for riders at all levels. More information and registration go to the Brookline Bicycle Advisory Committee website www.BrooklineBikes.org.
Location: Brookline, MA
Contact: John Dempsey at BikeBeacon@BrooklineBikes.org
Cost: Free
Registration Required? Yes. Online www.BrooklineBikes.org or day of event

Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
