Spring Forward 2008 - April 27th in Union, IL

for those who aren't going to the BFNIC Classic ride, there is the Spring Forward ride in Union, IL.

No one is doing this....because anyone who is anyone will be riding in WI for the BFNIC Classic.

Using logic that means that this ride doesn't actually exist and therefore can not be discussed.

I rode this last year ( I think it was same day as Inaugural BFNIC ) but it was before I knew Speedy. Screw this ride. Where McAwesome is found is where I'm bound.

(I also rode a long distance with a man wearing black over-the- calf men's dress socks during this ride but didn't notice that until he dismounted to apply more sunscreen....definitely NOT McAwesome)

I have ridden it the last 3 years. It was a different date than the classic last year. Last year I rode it with inputflangeman and he and his bud roasted my early season lungs.

Nice ride, but no beer, suffering, and friend filled ride the like the classic for sure.....;)

Alas, I remain in the Mediterranean and am enjoying an early afternoon relaxation at the internet cafe here in Menorca. Can someone there advise me whether the weather on the New Glarus ride will be suitably comfortable for me to attend? I must make contact with my traveling assistant for the plans if I am to make it in time to see how my Midwestern cohorts keep things Awesome.
