Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Here are the detail shots of the 3 Ocean frames I built up recently. Sorry for the delay, to everyone who has been
emailing/PMing me for these photos. My good friend Rick Miskiv took the photos (thanks), and we have both been moving office/shops recently so have been a bit busy....

nice. I really like the offset seat stays on the 'street' model. can Mr. Kusaka do that with a 'normal' front end?

yup. thats super classy. i like it that the straps were manipulated to lean against the crank so they are not just "hanging" off the cranks.

kalavinka lugs or Nagazawa lugs. which do you guys like? i personally like the kalavinka ones more but only by a tad.

Nice lookin' bikes, I don't know if I could get into that metal flake glitter paint though...

Maybe it looks better in person.

One moonlit evening, as I pedaled home from school on a road freshly coated with snow, I decided that my dream bike would be white with little glittery bits in it. The tiny flakes kaleidoscopically reflecting light at every angle will set my heart aflutter. The bike above is a mockery of my dream.

I really like the bikes otherwise though. They are all pretty sexy actually.

I'm sure they will accept your money too but while you're waiting entertain us by telling what kind of a frameset & custom options you're getting?

White 62cm keirin sentouki with silver flake and red decals. Aero fork and classic seat stays.
I will probably place my order next month since I will be dropping $500 on some dura ace cranks and hubs tomorrow.

That sounds cool. I personally probably would opt for the rainbow flake to add some extra silliness, though. :D

i dunno where u are buying these parts from but if the going price is 300$...do NOT buy them lol....

i sold a 36h njs set on ebay, mind you, for 150$.... not janky condition...

DA cranks in 9/10 condition will go for about 200$ all day on xxfixed sites....it's just that not that many have them...

deathhare is right about the japan thing...hell, i paid 225$ shipped for da7600 cranks + custom nuevos + kashimax straps + mks clips + 4 DA rings...

I found front and rear 32h hubs, new, for less than $100 each. The crank is $205. So when I said $500 I was including shipping. Good deal I think :)

I bought brand new 7600 36h HF hubs (the 'rare' 110mm ones) with two cogs and lockrings and an used 7600 crankset from ebay for way less than 500 bucks, shipped to Finland...

If were on that topic....I bought a Complete NJS Panasonic and rode it home for 450 bucks. :) Everything NJS except the spokes. And it came from a bike shop, not some dude in a dark alley. :)

Oh No

Stop it. I feel so ripped off.

Now I've got to eat falafel sandwiches for eight weeks to even things out in the spendthrift-vs-frugal department.

Pretty sure deals like that are ultra rare now.
The shop i got that bike at has woken up too. I went back there over winter and they had all sorts of over priced fixed gear parts.
