Hey, a few of those pills are frowning. Tell them to straighten up and fly right, or they are gonna get chewed out.

I just poured some soup into my work computer.
But on the topic at hand, get well soon, Donna.

She doesn't live in the computer, she lives in Oregon, which is above California.
You should splash soup on the ceiling of your cubical instead.

That looks sooo wonderful right now....
Thank you for all your good wishes. :) I seem to have caught something that is "going around". I started with a fever and sore throat. The throat seems to be swollen and now it's really hard to swallow. The fever only breaks for a few hours each morning.
The good news is that I've heard it seems to last 5-7 days and this is already day 2 and a half. :)

Donna,
I am so sorry that I don't often jump into this type of thread. Call me a calloused person, but I do wish you health even though I did not jump in right away. Be well sister. :)

Move along nothing to see here. Lots of people get a cold. As a matter of fact I have the sniffles myself. I also stubbed my toe the other day - please start a tribute thread for me too.

Thanks again, everyone. Perhaps you've heard that the current influenza vaccine is not working for all the strains currently making the rounds? I'm here to say that it's quite true. :( I haven't had the flu for nearly 10 years - I forgot how truly miserable it is.
I would like to recommend elderberry. I truly believe it's sped up the passing of the worst of it. I've been drinking an herbal tea with elderberry flowers and adding elderberry tincture to it. It even tastes good. :)

I used to love elderberry flower tea. I had a hard time finding it for years, though. That, and linden flower tea.
Both very good tasting.
Glad to hear that you are on your way to recovery :) .

Rest up and get better. I recommend chasing the chicken soup with ginger ale (or non-alcoholic ginger beer). Have someone bring you a jigsaw puzzle or three to help the time pass. :)
