:p Hello,

I'm cyced to check out this site. What a resource!

This is by way of an introduction! I live in Moab. I lived in Marin County from '54 'till '85, when I 'found' Moab. I fled Ca. because of astronomical home prices and idiotic automobile levels (traf****). I was a cat. 1 roadie & trackie (nor.cal. pur. ch '74), reborn into off-road in '78. I spent a lot of days out on Mt. Tamalpais. I built bicycle trailers - delivering 300 lbs of ... tofu, in Marin (for Wildwood, in the early 80's).

I discovered Moab during a summer bike trip and bought a house ( w/ five acres) for 'no money down'. In '90 (or so) I bought a run down diner on Main street and rebuilt it as a vegiterian, break/lunch place - The Star diner! By '98, I was cooked ... and sold it to buy my current home in Moab. I am very fortunate to live on one of the oldest 'homesteads', next to a rare Artesian spring (25 gpm), the hugest trees around, and a swimming pool, on fourteen acres. We (my sweetheart, Terry & I) have run a 'resort/accomodations' place since.

I have hosted a jazz radio show on <www.kzmu.org> (Tues. eve at 6:30) - featureing "the Patron Saint of the Lazy River of Jazz; Louis Armstrong", for ten years! Tune in! I play trumpet. Also, conch (seashells).

ANYONE coming to Moab ought to look me up; I can set you up with the nicest place to stay! <www.pioneerspring.com> There's a million reasons to visit Moab; one of the best is the Moab "Centurion"; 100 'offroad miles', most of the great rides, all in one day! Its on the full moon in September and starts at our place (w/a conch blow). Come on then if you're coming!

Live Long; Perspire!
