Anyone done this? I just traded a guitar for a motorcycle, which will be useful. But sometimes I want to cycle from my shop, but need a motor vehicle there for errands. Any standard systems exist for carrying a bicycle on a motorcycle? I only need to go 3 miles each direction.

I did the first road test on my rig yesterday. I'll do a full write up after the weekend. I'll say this: It's damn ugly but has worked at 100mph and rumbling though a crater strewn parking lot (separately). Nobody tailgated me.

Some of those pics with those motorcycles rigged up to carry bikes look damn S-C-A-R-Y!!! Sorry...but I'm a motorcycle rider, too...and those setups just look unsafe to me. Sure seems like carting around those bicycles on the back like that would undoubtedly wreck havoc on the handling and balance of the motorcycle. I wouldn't do it, but that's just me. It's hard enough trying to be safe out there on a motorcycle...I wouldn't want the added worry and stress of dealing with hauling around bicycles on top of that.
