Did not race today, but came out to watch 1999 mtb world champ and current single speed world champ Travis Brown tear apart the competition. The layout was great, with many blockades that led right into steep uphill climbs with bikes on shoulders. Anyways, this Travis (Team Trek - which is just outside of Madison) tore it up. He let the main pack stay with him for the first half of the race, but must have finished 4 minutes ahead of second place! It was impressive, I should have some pics of him soon. I must have seen at least 60-80 bikes today, non of which were the same. All different models, very cool race to watch today.
